I began teaching Kindergarten in 1993, here in San Antonio. After my eldest son was born, I took time off from teaching to stay home and raise my family. In 2005, I began teaching full time again. In between those years, I've taught preschool and volunteered in my own childrens schools. My husband, Wes and I graduated from Texas A&M University (Gig Em!), and were married at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

However, life has taken us on a tour of Texas cities, and since then, weve lived in Houston, Corpus Christi, and Waxahachie! In 2008, we moved back home to San Antonio and I began teaching at St. Peters. We have four children (Tyson, Allie, Will and Charlie), all of whom attend St. Peters, and I am so pleased to be a part of this community--both as a parent and a teacher. My philosophy is to create an environment in which children feel safe and encouraged; recognizing that each one has unique gifts, talents, and needs. I love teaching Kindergarten and it is my goal to teach in such a way that each child reaches his maximum academic potential.
