Basketball Information Sheet
Players: K3 through 5th grade
K3-K5 is co-ed
Registration Dates: Tuesday October 13th at 2:45 in the Barilla Parking lot during pick up and then in the cafeteria until 5:00.
Thursday, October 22nd in the cafeteria at 2:30-5:00
Season Start Date: December 5th
Practice Info: Practice will begin in November. Teams will practice one night a week after 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Gym (If time and space is available some teams may practice twice a week)
Coaches will schedule practice and inform parents of date and time
Games: Saturdays and/or Sunday afternoons. Final schedules are not available until the week before the season begins.
Game Locations: Various gyms throughout the zone, i.e., Blessed Sacrament, St. Helena, St. Peter & Paul (New Braunfels, Holy Spirit, St. Johns, St. Pius, Mt. Sacred Heart, St. Marks, St. Thomas More, OLPH (Selma), Our Lady of Grace (St. Anthony’s), Nimitz, Bradley, Driscoll (game locations are scheduled by the zone and subject to change)
Gym Coverage: Each team will have one Saturday and one Sunday days where parents must work in the gym to cover the front door and the concession stand.
Cost: $70 per player. All players are required to return their uniform to their coaches at the end of the season. An additional fee in the amount of the uniform will be assessed for all uniforms not returned. A fee will also be collected by each coach to cover “team tickets” and trophies.
Payment is due at time of registration.
