Structured learning through a departmentalized curriculum, electives and specialized courses (6th-8th Grades)
With guidance from the Archdiocese-approved curriculum, St. Peter Prince of the Apostles School differentiates
itself by providing a well-balanced, integrated, departmentalized curriculum, which aptly prepares students for high
school. Graduates from St. Peter’s consistently rank among the best prepared for high school in the metro San Antonio
area. Also, graduates who are interested in entering Incarnate Word High School or Saint Anthony High School receive
a $1,500 Preparatory School Scholarship for 4 years. And, if the students choose to continue on to the University
of the Incarnate Word for college, additional scholarships are available.
Core subjects are comprised of mathematics, science, social studies, religion, language arts, fine arts, music,
Spanish and physical education. To complement the core subjects, students choose from a variety of electives,
special courses and enrichment opportunities that contribute to their total development.
Students may also participate in St. Peter’s sports programs such as volleyball, basketball, golf and football.
Student athletes adhere to a strict code of conduct and academic achievement.
