St. Peter Prince of Apostles is thrilled to announce our selection for this year’s Teacher of the Year. Typically, the process for selecting our teacher of the year involves receiving nominations and allowing the faculty to vote. This year, the vote was not necessary, because the nominations were unanimous, and very well deserved.
These were some of the things said about this year’s winner:
She is a very dedicated teacher and holds students to high standards, behaviorally and academically.
She is usually the first person to arrive on campus.
Her classes regularly connect older students with younger, building bridges and strengthening our community.
She has consistently been cited as one of the teachers who helped prepare them best for high school by our returning alumni, and is not afraid to tackle a mountain of work for the betterment of St. Peter’s, such as when she spearheaded our Solar Eclipse day on the first day of school.
Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Lisa Tobias, St. Peter’s Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Tobias will be recognized at an Archdiocesan event later this semester. We are very proud of her!
