Amanda Mendez began her teaching career in 2008 at O’Connor High School where she taught 9-12th grade Mathematics for 10 years. While at O’Connor Mrs. Mendez participated in a research project in conjunction with Texas State University for which she was a nominee for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). This is her first year teaching at St. Peter’s and she is very excited for the opportunity to share not only Mathematics but her love for Christ with the students and staff at St. Peter’s.
