Sandra Valdez, PreK3

B.A. Child Psychology, University of the Incarnate Word

Sandra Valdez is a product of Catholic education.  She attended Carmelite for kindergarten, St. Gerard Catholic School from 1-8 grade, and St. Gerard Catholic High School where she graduated second in her class.  She earned her B.A. at UIW in Child Psychology with honors, and worked with Communities in Schools for five years as a case manager and supervisor.  She taught at St. Pius X for four years in PK3, PK4 and kindergarten.  Mrs. Valdez has been an active parent volunteer at all of her children's Catholic schools.  She previously worked at SPS as a substitute teacher.  Mrs. Valdez has been married for 26 yearas and has three children.  Her oldest child graduated from UTSA in Civil Engineering and is working in a Civil Engineering office here in San Antonio.  Her daughter is attending Hawaii Pacific University double majoring in Marketing and Psychology.  Her youngest son is an 11th grader at Antonian College Preparatory High School.
